Edgard's eyes widen at the sound of the laughter. He feels a pang of guilt.

He watches Loki add logs to the fire and holds out his hands.

"Nearly a year and a half." He answers his question. "You're--relatively new, correct? Was injured for a bit, so missed some things." He frowns. "That fire is large enough that it should be making us sweat and I'm still freezing!"
