post-debate griffons

Kostos spent Marcus' speech very still in his chair, one arm in his lap and the other dangling, both more rigid than they looked. His biggest movement—certainly not big enough to have warranted any attention from anyone, especially Marcus, in the middle of that tension—was a head turn toward the Loyalists, at your brothers and sisters gave their lives. He'd been satisfied to see at least one head duck in shame. A head he recognized, that anyone might recognize; Senior Enchanter Hermant, a Loyalist who'd been at Andoral's Reach when they voted to fight but disappeared from their number before the Templars arrived.

He isn't seeking out Marcus now. He's seeking out Mouse, hauling a bucket of water in either hand to add to the embellished bathing tub that's serving as the griffons' water dish.

"You still sound like you want it," he says to Marcus as he walks past, "but you made Hermant cry. So."

Good job.
