Ducking a snow laden branch, Ellis hums over the question. The horse is nickering complaint as Ellis urges her onward, over a fallen log.

"Some are like this. Others, when they send you to find bandits or investigate swamps, are more of a challenge."

Or they're a different challenge than a lackadaisical map and whimsical request from a powerful man. At least with bandits, there's a clear end to the objective.

"Ruins can be difficult. If they're structurally sound, it'll go easy, but if it's falling in, we'll need to go slowly."
